I finally got my thematic piece back from my art teacher.
Our exam was a presentation where we had to present 5 pieces. 4 done in class and 1 that was on our own. The 1 is the thematic piece and every semester they have a new one. The theme was TRANSFORMATION and I honestly hated it. Couldn't come up with anything, but I finally did. It's nothing internal or external. IE. Life - death or growth (physically or mentally). This is just a simple transformation of an abstract art into something I want to see it as.
The top: An ink blob that I made on my own. Just splattered paint and then fold the paper in half.
The bottom: A utopia. A place that does not exist. I was reading Shakespeare's The Tempest and I was just inspired to draw something mystical. The whole pose was created by me. By what I saw in the blob.
Mediums: Acrylic (for blob), watercolour, watercolour pencils, pencil crayons, and fine tip.
And that's my transformation. Sorry about the bad scanning. My scanner sucks.
Whoo! I heart the turthe! It's amazing! That blob looks extremely like the picture, I'm super-impressed! Lovely work, I love the fairy's pose! The water is especially well done!
In my own mind I wanted the blob to look like the finish product. So I cheated a little. lol heehee I made many blobs until I could get the one I wanted!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
